flat enamel HJ badge on the e-stand

I decided to buy this badge because it looks ok to me: the reverse looks well defined and real and also the observe is convincing, despite the flat enamel which is believed to be a red flag

However, I would like to read other opinions
    thanks

Sir For whatever it is worth, I personally don't have any issues with this badge. As a matter of fact, there is an accepted party pin with this same application. What you need to do if I were you would be to go on the party pin site and find the badge and see if the makers are the same. If you see the makers are the same then see if the reverse is marked the same (numeral design for example) All the info is right here at your fingertips. Take care Robert

hello robert thanks for your message. Actuallly I have no problems with this badge and in fact I bought it from the seller. On WAF Hj pin database there is an identical badge from this maker, but I like to rediscuss my ideas with other collectors in order to learn something new. I agree that some fake HJ badges are made with plain enamels, but there are also genuine ones, imo.

This maker used opaque enamel on both party and HJ pins for a period instead of the usual translucent red.

Thanks Stehen, do you have a party badge sample to add to this thread? It would be interesting to see it.
