I wouldn't mind it in my collection. What's the back look like? John

Nice pin, but i.m.o. this is just a (early) sympathy to the party pin, so no high price tag I would say...

I own an identical pin. By the construction, I date them to the 20s. They are sympathy pins. What was the price offered for the other one?

Nice early supporter/sympathizer's pin, but not anything "super-duper"....
scarce "at best"........probably in the $25.00 to $65.00 price range, value-wise.

            pin

Here's the website guys. I know this means nothing as most dealers sites are out of bounds when it comes to price. Go to the tinnes catagory and it's on the 2nd or 3rd page. It may not be worth much, but I had a half dozen PMs wanting it Thanks, Alex

Time traveler has been known to step back a bit in time on pricing, I can't see it being worth that much ,,,The proof would be in a sale.

I totally agree on their pricing, but not taking a step back in time rather taking a step ahead maybe 5 years or so. As far as taking a step back I would love to take a step back 5 or 7 years and get one RK when they were still reasonably priced...not overpriced. Alex

That little celluloid badge from the early days of the NSDAP is actually quite a rare thing.

                  Try finding another.

It's easier to find a GPB.

Well, I was referring to a step back in time perhaps 1.5 years ago, before the current recession.
Hes got things like a common West Wall medal for $66, and a bronze mothers cross for $90.
Average RZM SA daggers $600 +, good luck.
That would have been a stretch even 2 years ago, he is simply going to need to lower prices, or his items will not sell.
I suppose much the same can be said of any dealer though, but this guy has always struck me as more than a bit ludicrous on pricing.

Robin is correct, that is not by any means a common piece, so theres always a potential for pleasant pricing surprises when you have something like that.

                      pin

Once again, thanks for all the help guys. It's great to be able to find a cool little piece and have so much knowledge at ones finger tips when you need to know what you've got. This place is soooo much better than the Antiques Roadshow Alex

                          pin

I know this threads a little old, but thought I`d show an early celluloid pin I have.

Robin, if it is rarer than a gold party badge, in your opinion is $225 too low?
