    Justice Stickpin on e-stand

    Hi!

I would like to discuss this justice stickpin on the e-stand.
Is this original? I know they have made some fakes of this pin. This one looks from the sellers pictures like a cast fake, but maybe I need to check my eyesight?

So Petri, in which instance would you want the pin to be discussed?

      see my question above.

And it would be good if there was a possibility to get high resolution pictures.

I know from experience that pictures sometimes lies or gives the wrong impression of badge/stickpin.

And stickpins can be very hard to photograph.

From the photos provided it looks crudely cast, so that is why I wanted to raise the discussion.

We need to dive into the world of stickpins more often, since the reference on these ar almost non excistant.

        A definite fake I'm afraid.

These were only by one maker, Klotz u. Kienast & were always clearly marked by them. Also, the quality of the one shown above does not come up to what you would expect to see on an original of these.

        Sorry.

        Don

HI everyone, thanks for your input.
I'd like to obtain at least 1 or 2 more opinions before we deem that it is indeed a fake. If it is, I shall write to the dealer whom i purchased it from and of course withdraw it from the e-stand.

            Thank you.

Thanks Chris. One point I forgot to mention which can be seen in Chris' picture of the reverse, notice the slight indentation or groove which runs along the sword behind the pin. I can't see that on the one at the top of the thread.

                    Here's the honour version.....

                    Cheers

I see no problem in getting multiple opinions on an object, although I would value the input fron Don (who really knows this stuff). IMO the pin discussed should be moved to the Bazaar . Believe me, these are faked and I turned one offered down, it even had a COA from an well known dealer. Don, you remember that ugly bugger don't you

                            cheers

Thanks. it does clear things up. I will remove it from the e-stand once ive settled some of the items i have for sale on the same thread.

                              thank you.
