        Hindenburg Hitler

This is listed in medallion/pin form only in Tieste's pg 415 33-01. I have it somewhere here in pin or medallion form. I have seen pictures of it mounted like this, I would say it would come under the tinnie category, because I do not think it was awarded for anything, it was a item that would be purchased by proud Germans to show solidarity in the Hindenburg Presidency and the Hitler chancellor appointee in 1933. I went through 3 medal and order reference books and did not find it. So it must fall into the Political campaign category IMO. Facts I have seen this in medallion form, pinback form and now ribbon looped form. They used the red ribbon and either a swastika sticker and sometimes a woven swastika ribbon on several items like this. I do not know if this helps. But it is what I know.

By the way very nice piece, I would like to own it...

I do not have more info on these btw. Just like the look of the medals with the swastika ribbon.

Just bought one of these for €85 which I consider a bargain.
I saw one sold at auction last year for €160 and missed out on it and am now pleased that I did.

Both the medal and ribbon are in great condition so someone must have stored it well for the past 83 years.
