This badge/tinnie is what I would call a rare find and I don't usually ascribe to doing this. I believe this tinnie is more difficult to obtain than is believed hence a true keeper when found and more valuable than most think.
I have never seen the provided and associated documention as shown in this post and am very envious as probably most are. As Mametz has described the difference in dates, I have the latter tinnie with the date 25-26 8.34. Very interesting to see the variation of dates.
As I have seen only less than a handful of these tinnies, in my many years of collecting, I ask the forum members to post their examples to see how prolific this type tinnie really is and very interested to see the delta of the different associated dates for this tinnie. I also welcome sage advice as to why 2 differnet dates.

HJ Day of the 100,000 march in Hessen Nassau
I do not think it is all that un-common, I have seen a few of the documents and wished I had one to go with my tinnies. I would suspect it is self explanitory. The HJ marched on 2 seperate occasions in the Hessen-Nassau region. I truly doubt that there were 100,000 of them. It is kind of like the Glen Beck Rally on Washington that had as few as 5,000 to as some would say 75,000 - 100,000 people, it was all politics and made for good headlines at the time, The one dated 9 1 & 2 1934 did come in silver and gold. i have both dates. I do not know of the difference or why silver and gold, but I always thought the paperwork went with the gold ones.
IMO
Thanks
Jack
