I recently acquired this with some veteran souvenirs...
I found this in a sun goggles tin. It looks as if the "s" in the initial G E S was added??? not sure...
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed in your sales thread you mentioned that this came from a 42.I.D. vet. My grandfather served in the 42nd and I was wondering if maybe you could tell us more about the vet from whom you acquired this? Any back story or info on how or where he acquired it? Was there anything else besides the SS-FM pin?
