Does anyone know what this badge is for? Cheers, Torsten.

FWG could stand for Freie Wählergruppe which is a group of citizens with no party affiliation who enter as candidates in elections. If that is what this badge is then it must be either from 1933 or earlier or obviously post-war. If the trident is showing a location then it may be Gerolsheim as that town uses the trident in its coat of arms. Lots of ifs but who knows? It might actually be the right answer

Hi Garry, I would think it to be from between 1938 to 1945 and the letters may of course stand for FGW?? Cheers, Torsten.
