'Travels Of Italian Workers In Germany' Tinnie

    Hi Everybody,

I picked this up recently and just wondered what you all make of it. I haven't seen anything like it before.

From a translation of the legend on the obverse, it would seem to be commemorating the 'Travels of Italian Workers In Germany XVII', and shows the Fasces alongside the DAF logo.

The badge is maker marked on the reverse, though it is hard to read, ... Roma.

I think it is connected with the labourers that were conscripted by Mussolini and sent to the Reich for work.

Does anyone know anything about this badge? Any comments? I'd be most interested to hear.

    All the best,
    Toby.

CFLI means Confederazione Fascista Lavoratori dell' Industria
Fascist confederation of the Workers of the Industry.
