    Can anyone fill me in on the background of these pins??
    Matched set, MM Paul Klee, Potsdam....common---scarce???

            i would postulate something of a religious significance...i know the protestant affiliation with the nazis had similiar shield based pins with the cross in the background like these....they are nice and i would assume pretty uncommon...

                My guess is something related to an NS group in East Prussia - the old Teutonic area ruled by the Teutonic Knights, who used a black cross on a white shield.

                    If i remember right,it is Baltische Landswehr membership/veteran badge.Seen this badge with name in one of my books.Gotta check it again.
