Enamel badge with British flag & Swastika flag

Today at an antiques fair i was offered a badge i have never come across before.
Obviously i had no camera to take a picture.
It was white enamel, in the middle was a Swastika flag & a British flag. I can't remember what was written around the edge.
The back had the same pin as most of the party badges & HJ membership pins. It was marked Deschler & also Ges Gesch.
I have searched but cannot find one.
Can anyone tell me the name of the badge & a possible value?
    Thanks, Anthony

    Hi Anthony,

    It's a common fake (likely fantasy) - supposedly a German-British friendship association.

Yes. A fantasy. I have seen them on the repo sites. John

ive seen a few before, once they have an acid bath they can look really quite convincing.

-early on i use to go to a dealer at a carboot fair and this "dealer" had tones of pieces like this which all looked real... this was a piece of crap i got from him~

i traded real TR stuff for it .. o well, i sold it to another dealer ( dont worry he riped me off price wise on my real TR stuff)

yep, that's the one, the pin badge shown in the link.
When he showed me it & i said that i'd never seen anything like it before i should have had alarm bells ringing
There's a flea market near here with a so called militaria dealer, it's interesting to note that he doesn't do the local militaria fair. The trouble is he does have some real stuff mixed in with all the fake/fantasy rubbish.
We live & learn & as such i won't be ringing that guy about his "mates" badge.

I have seen a badge very similiar to this one, it was in the shape of NSDAP membership badge.

I assumed it was this badge, which can be found with varying degrees of quality:

It also comes in an "American" version.

Me too: Thanks for the heads up on the other one. Although I probably would have passed if I ever would have seen one. John

I think there is a German/England bowling competition badge out there as well. I believe the key give-away that the above round badge is a fantasy is "British" is spelled wrong in translation - it should be "Britische" with an "e" on the end.
