Very nice-
This is an Orts Staff badge for the RDK - League of German Families. Not often seen. The one-piece member badge is much more common. Maker is Steinhauer & Luck.Comment

Yellow background = Reichs Staff. Staff badges are usually 2-piece. Can we see the back?
There is a white and red version as well for Kreis and Gau.Comment

Sorry to put a spanner in the works here, but I'm not happy with the second one. RS is not a known maker for these coloured variants & the quality of this one does not compare to known S&L marked originals......

I usually just keep quiet and watch and learn what goes on in the forum. I like RDK badges, among other things, and will show a few of mine....FYI. I have NEVER seen a Reichs-level RDK badge and have never seen any proven references to them. It is interesting to hear about the raised eagles being staff. I had never thought about that. I am looking for the Gau level badge with the raised eagle and any other RDK special badges or materials. It is fun collecting!!!Comment
