I have come across this badge which is unknown to me and so might be posted in the wrong place on the forum. I would be grateful if anyone could identify the badge and give me some idea of its value.

This is actually an early piece as there is no RZM number.

Thanks Mike and Richard. What approximate date are you talking about when you say that it is an early piece Richard? Does the fact that it is an early piece affect its value ?

Most probably pre 1934. Sometimes collectors will pay more for early pieces as they are deemed to be scarcer. You find more interest in early NSDAP membership badges that were pre RZM and they may carry a bit of a premium over a regular RZM piece.
