    GPB pair #71642

These have been sleeping for quite some time in my collection...and now seeing the light of day here on the forum for viewing and comment. No idea who #71642 was, but they do show regular wear by that party member, which is normal. As I understand it, the smaller one is by Fuess and the larger, of course, by Deschler. Interesting are the seldom-seen brooch-type attachment pins on the reverse.

The case in which I keep this matching pair was acquired separately.

    All period originals...I hope!

    Regards,

    John

Both badges are 100% correct, as for the case ?

I would back both badges as been good ones, but the case I don't think is period.

I agree with Kyle and Jon that both badges look good. There were many custom pin styles on these badges and their obverses are textbook.

I can only agree with the others. Both badges are genuine. I think the case can only be judged by one of the few lucky collectors who have one in their collection. I guess it will be not too many

And matched sets would be fewer!

                              Hi John.
Nice to hear from you again.
And as you are doing everytime, you appear with a nice surprise.
All the set, badges and case are genuine periods items. A treasure all together.
Un fuerte abrazo de tu amigo espaƱol.
