mine doesnt shows like that, essentially in the word "VED"...
Your backing shows like the aluminum "RZM" buckles fakes.

Hi,Thank you for confirming my doubts,The back is awful,I did have a look on the Collectors Guild and War booty.com where there are some examples and I can see the crispness in detail for sure on the reverse,Thank you for taking the time to respond,Barney.

I am not sure, but I do not think that these are any good .... I come across NSKK shields of similar design fairly regularly and I always leave them alone, as I think that they are all fakes. Cheers, Torsten.

They certainly did exist. But were stamped out of a thin metal as they were sewn on shirts. Normally you see them with a green clothing backing.
