Assistance needed with SA Sports Badge

I recently purchased this SA Bronze Sports Badge and would like opinions on whether it is genuine or not. The pin seems rather loose. I attach some images.

It looks okay to me, the lose attach pin is normal for this type of pin. These badges were issued in three time frames this one being a 3rd issue badge made after 1939.
