It's supposed to be a Jewish Getto "Order Service" (Jewish Police force) badge but unfortunately it's a modern reproduction....

Holocaust memoribilia is horribly reproduced....(meaning heavily reproduced!) avoid such stuff without unquestioned provenance.....all sorts of badges, armbands, etc. coming out of reproduction land (Eastern Europe/Poland)....
Most is laughible if it wasn't for the fact people still fall for it....check out ebay....tons of the stuff.

ThankU very much for your information and comments. I was sure it was not period, however, I had never seen one before and wanted to know what it was. One of my employees purchased it for me, when she was in Warsaw, as she knows I collect. She aslo found this repro 5th Dons.
