    Which Pins Are Original?

I came across these pins while wandering around the internet and would appreciate feedback on the originality of these pins.

(Sacrificing them to the Gods of the WAF membership)

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Sir, They are all duds. Ataaching pin paltes are one reason. I'll let others add. Good Luck Robert

I agree Robert and thank you for your input.

Hope to hear from others as I am trying to help out a friend who does not realize what they may or may not be.

All fakes. As said above, the coffin-shaped pinplate gives them away, not to mention the poor materials and the modern, sunken enamel.

Yet what about the "authentic" aging and wear?

Some of these fakes are old enough to have patina and for modern fakers it's easy to add an artificial ageing. However In many cases a trained eye will react on those unnatural finish.

Use your search engine and see why the RZM is no good on the Ludendorff.
There's lots of info on these "supporter" pins.
The rest are so danm ugly it hurts. John

the enamel is a give away, + some of them look like they have been bathed in acid to age them.
