German badge dont know what it is???

    German badge dont know what it is???

    Hi just started on the forum great site lots of info . Right were do i start i have a badge or broach don't know what it is . Its about 8 inch's in lenght and 2 1/2 3 inch's in width it has a round red disc (border ) in the centre a swastika on the bottom is a red tassel and suspending the disc (body of the badge) are 15 3 inch strands from a pin back broach any idea would be great thanks RICH

      Hi Mike thanks for answering. Ive got the photos on the computer but not sure how to put them in the post. It also said in the posting rules at the bottom YOU MAY NOT POST ATTACHMENTS .??????? THANKS RICH

            To post pictures using the software built into the forum, you must be an association member. My recommendation is that you pay the small yearly fee to help keep things up, and you can post all you want. Welcome to the WAF!

              Hi Richard and welcome to the Forum . To tell you the truth , because of that Ring it looks like a "Pull Tab" for a Nazi Window Shade ..

              There were many embroidered “supporter” badges and WHW trinket/Pins produced …and there was a large Home Cottage Industry producing the pins so there are many variations . I would guess it would fall into that category.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o></o>

                As Mike P. has already pointed out, this will be a locally made Nazi supporter badge and it is not an officially issued one. Certainly very unusual. Cheers, Torsten.
