Gents,

Could the writing just be wear? I attach a coupl of different angles to highlight this. IMO this is not cast. It has lines on the edge where it has been stamped out??

its possible its wear, but why would the lettering be soooo worn when the rest of the cross shows little or non? thats the sort of thing that would ring alarm bells with me -nigel
