    Mothers Medal

If it doesn't belong in this forum, sorry. I thought this was best forum to post it in. It not, I'll move it.

I had this professionaly framed and double matted in blue and gold to match the cross. The glass is uv protectant anti glare. This was picked up for me in Germany. Purchased from the family. I lost my job in August and this along with my entire collection is probably going to be auctioned off at a local collectors shop. My wife helped me pick this one mainly because it came with the document. I just wanted to post the pics up for you to take a look at. It hurts me to half to sell it, but........

Not sure what I'm going to do with it. If I could get back to work, I wouldn't have to worry about it. The gentleman that owns the auction service and business asked me to put a total on the entire collection that I would take for it. He wants to buy it all outright. I can't even begin to come up with a total. I don't have a huge collection, but around two hundred items to include awards and equipment.
And yes the doc. is a "third steps" bronze. But oh well, the family sold it with the cross displayed. I have a decent bronze cross without a ribbon, but decided to put the gold with it.
***Also, can someone please tell me what letter that is in the phrase of "der Deut?chen Mutter"? I've tried everthing in the translator and nothing. Thanks folks.
