It looks OK to me to but I prefer these crosses when they are either 900 21 or 900 L/50 marked on the ring. As you will see from this picture, mine is mm'd 900 21.

The answer in "no" to both questions.

The ring could aslo possibly be a replacement which might explain why it isn't hallmarked. That mark on the top of the suspender is a mystery to me.

Peter J knows quite a bit about these crosses so I'll let him post his comments.

In my opinon the piece is OK. It is an early eample. The first pieces had only the silver content on the ring, but in the lesser grade this is not always present. The strange mark on the top, again is not unknown. I show this anomily in my first article on the Eagle order way when back. In this case it is a "T". THE POSSIBLE EXPLANATION FOR THAT IS TEILGENOMEN. The other marks came later in the production of the order. Like wise the ribbon is slightly different in the cross as it changed its derivation.
