Hello Torsten, although I cannot say with 100% conviction perhaps it is a Leipziger Trade exhibitors Badge for the Herbst-messe or Fruhjahrsmesse exhibitions. Although certainly not one of the official examples however

I think that some kind of privately made 1910s or 1920s Leipziger Messe brooch is a distinct possibility here with the two Ms on top of eachother ... but it would not be anything officially issued by the Leipziger Messe organisers ... Cheers, Torsten.

Actually Torsten, I think that perhaps Robin was quite near to the true meaning As Perhaps he was implying the badge was demonstrating the art of copulation
when in fact it is was the art of Nouveau ................
