Hello, there exists several versions of this particular Badge. Originally intended as event/award/presentaion Badges for the completion of the reich's motorways (Autobahn) examples can be found for 1000 kilometers, 2000 kilometers and 3000 kilometers. The designs were also used for Awards and presentaion plaques.

Thank you Martin. Any estimated value on this particuplar tinnie given its condition?

Hello, for me personally this is would be one of the most difficult of Badges to evaluate due to the fact that I used to deal In Art Deco Antiques and the influence of theArt Deco design makes it very desirable from my perspective. Hopefully Chris (Lee) will see the thread and give an opinion to the value, I consider him an advanced collector and could perhaps give an accurate valuation. Regards Martin

            Martin,
Thanks for the compliment and as usual my hats off to you.
HD, as far as the value of this tinnie goes, Martin is right. They are very desirable. In good condition, value would be in the $55.00 - $65.00 range.
In this condition its more in the $25.00- $35.00 range, maybe a tad more if somone really wants it. You can see mine, second row from the top

Hello Chris, your collection never ceases to amaze me your Badge appears to be in near pristine condition. From my point of view the design has to be one of the more desirable looking tinnies I have ever encountered.
              Best regards Martin
