    Thumbs up !

Nice original piece, dealers sell them from 800 Euros up, in today's climate a private sale, say 600 ? There again it is up to the individual what to ask.

I've never seen one with a pin like that before.

      Or crude rivets.

      Here's one in wear................by Hoess.

I would venture my opinion that the medal is a reproduction and the certificate of authenticity is worthless and meaningless.

          Regards,

In David Littlejohns collection there is such a piece. The rivits are not as this, but perfect. The purchase ledger shows from memory, being obtained in the early 50's. The size is identical to the normal badge. Quality of striking also is of the same standard.

I have not bought the piece, because I was with 1,300 is too expensive,
but whether it is an original I would be very interested ???
              in Niemann3 page 336 - same pin & catch ..............

Here is my badge... unfortunately, someone thought it would make for a great buckle. This was most likely done as a "sympathizer" buckle. I am sure this was period done but by whom and when is the unknown.

4 - solid brass buckle plate - the maker mark which I don't think is German

now I write again, it would have Niemann "" Fakes "" depicted in his catalog ???
I do not think so ................ or ?
the bruises on the back and the needle are absolutely identical
