stuart - great collection , these are good looking badges - I have a few that I dress up my Political Leaders with and also two that have the award document.
I also really like the Hitler Youth Leader sports badge its a real looker -

Stuart, thank you again. This 44 is a nice one. It must be a Brehmer. As you have two of them, when you wish to sell one, please tell me.
Hort, you HJ Leader badge is a gem too. I like a lot. What´s its number?

Greg - It is a number and not a "B" - think the numbered ones are alot rarer than the "B",s???

It´s one of the higger numbers that I´ve seen in these badges. No much more than this were awarded. I have the 8673 in my collection.
I think the B are rarer than the numbered. So, you can find more frecuently the numbered than the B in the market. But I haven´t the exact amount made of one and other. If somebody have please tell us.

When I was looking for one I was offered alot of "B"s but I wanted a numbered one - I think that the "A",s are harder to find -

                        Hi Stu,

That's a stunning group of Sieger Badges you have there. It seems to be growing and growing

To Horst: As far as I know there exist nothing such as an "A" badge in the Führersportabzeichen. Only numbered one's and the dress copies "B" pieces for the different uniforms of the owner.

                        Regards, Theo

Theo - I havent seen an "A" designated badge but in Angolia,s book For Fuhrer and Fatherland, Political & Civil Awards of the Third Reich he states and I quote" The reverse bore either the serial number of the award or the designatin "A" or"B" ..........".

                            hi
                            glad you like the badges.

even books make mistakes i was of the understanding badges with the serial number where the awarded basdge and the b was a replacement never seen any of these badges with a on the back,

Like Stu mentioned. It was a mistake. The same error you can find in Angolia's HJ books. These badges with an "A" designation do not exist. I only wonder were the author based this strange theory on? Has anyone figured that out?
