    DAF tinnie opinions?

    Hello,

I haven't come across any tinnies in a while, but this DAF tinnie was in a small lot of items I recently obtained. I really do not know that much about this tinnie or the DAF so any information would be most helpful.

I'm also posting one other tinnie that was in the lot. If I could also get an opinion on that I would appreciate it.

    Best regards,
    Steve

Hello Steve, the first Badge is not a Tinnie, it is actually a Deutsche Arbeitsfront Visor Cap Badge.
The 2nd Badge - Reichsbund Deutscher Kleingärtner ( RDK ) is the Badge of the National Association of German small Gardeners. There also exists a 25 year version of this Badge, the Jubiläumsabzeichen für 25 jährige Mitgliedschaft, which is identical to your example except that the 25 years example has a oak-leave wreath around the oval and
also the bottom centre of the wreath has a small horizontally retangular with an inset with the numerals ‘25’
          Regards Martin

I must be sleep walking to not have picked up that the DAF was a visor cap badge

Thanks for the help on the other pin as well.

            best,
            Steve

Hello Steve, it's an easy mistake to make as amazingly a company called Kruse & Sohne maufactured Tinnies with very similar characteristics to the DAF visor cap Badge. I have posted a picure below of two kruse Badges for comparrison. (note the very similar oval gilt frames)
