    Bad Kreuznach

Hello everyone. For years I have been looking for WWII tinnies, police & fire patches, and anything else that is from the town of Bad Kreuznach. So far I've only been able to locate one leather tinnie day badge and one fire sleeve eagle with the words Bad Kreuznach. Does anyone have anything from this area? I have seen from old photos that numerous rallies were held in the town and an Army division was also based there in both wars as well as a military hospital in the Nahe river valley. With so much military presence I thought there should have been more rallies with tinnies.

I'd love to see some more if anyone has such an item in their collections.

    Thanks,
    Gary

Gary, If you can get ahold of a copy of Reinhard Tieste's book on tinnies he has 9 Bad Kreuznach tinnes listed there including the one posted by Eric.

I lived there for three years. I have family and friends there. I also had some wonderful neighbors, I later learned, who were soldiers in the Wehrmacht. I listened to their experiences and it was so educational. It is just a great place, very scenic, with wonderful wine, and with with many fond memories for me.

I'm still wanting to purchase any tinnies from Bad Kreuznach. Send me a PM if anyone has one for sale.

                  Thanks
