Wondering about my NSDAP badge

Hello, my name is Atli and I recently bought my first NSDAP badge (and first WW2 anything, for that matter). When searching the internet for ways of seeing whether it was authentic, I came across this forum. Although I looked through the "NSDAP Membership Badge Database" and have a generally good feeling about it, you guys seem the be the correct people to ask.

A typical Fritz Zimmermann party badge. It's funny that this is your first buy. From historical view this was the first badge where everything started with. I think I may say that every other badge or award with swastika came after the party pin.

Yes, a beautiful example. Look at the centering lines cast into the back to correctly place the pin. That is a genuine third reich pin and plate assembly also. Beware of those plate types that are oblong with clipped off ends. Toping it off is the most classic example of the RZM mark. Thin outer circle, thick inner. And the slashed Z. John
