Hello, originally designed and sold to raise funds for the WHW (winerhilfswerkes)
"Gesunde Frauen durch Leibesübungen" - Healthy women through calisthenics
originals should measure 79mm in length with assembly the pin-back type , this particular Tinnie is always encountered absent of maker mark, Tin construction which would have originally had a silver finish, it is not unusual on this paricular Badge that the original silver has absorbed in to the metal.

The BDM - Bund Deutscher Madel League of German girls in the Hitler Youth is in fact only the political representation of the Tinnie. The significance and purpose of manufacturing the Tinnie was actually to raise funds. Below is a picture of BDM youth with one of the fund raising Tins. Hope this information helps.Attached Files

Hello, appears that additional solder has been used at some stage possibly to strengthen it. As these were mass produced it does not significantly detract from it's value. Regarding value as you know market values are usually determined by supply and demand I would rate it at $60. Although this figure is 'ball park' as I have seen one recently sell for a mere $10. From my experience Tinnies are an unpredicatable market at the best of times. I used to be able to buy Tinnies at a $1 each in the good old Days. Sadly those days are long gone

No WHW, no BDM. Reichsfrauenschaft, NS-Frauenschaft or another female organisation.
