Opinions on Enameled Lufthansa Stickpin Please

    Guys,
Just came upon this pin in my collection and wanted to get opinions on it. I understand that these are reproduced. What do you think of this one and what kind of value might this have? Thanks!!

Chris, I am not srue anyone knows for sure. These have been faked a lot. For what it's worth (not much, though), I like the looks of this pin.

Although I haven't had that specific Lufthansa pin, the enamel colour and background pattern to your one, does look to match the originals I have had.

                I have seen a Km,s travelled Pilot/Crew pin.
Same blue etc with "Bird" but much more modern
art deco eagle.Gilted.Much more attractive than this AND
                original.

Seiler. Perhaps it was the one I owned? Mine was 14 ct gold; though bound to be superior to the example that started this thread, given that it was produced in a precious metal.

Here is a link to it:

                    Hello,
Yes thats the same pin.The one I saw was for
100,000kms.They were a Company award and in 14ct.
Very attractive.Much like the award given by my former
US Co., for 10/15/20yrs at the "Coal face"
                    Cheers

                      Chris,
The knurling on the long pin appears to be post war in construction. Additionally, the originals that I have seen and owned had a burnished finish on the reverse.
                      My 2 cents worth,
                      Lyn
