Erich, unfortunately this is not as uncommon as one might think. I've seen these for sale with some regularity over the last several years. it is a very neat design though.

The plate and tinnie were given to the "Alten Garde" on their tour of the Gau.
The maker of the plate is Gebrueder Schoenau in Thuringen.
