These are some of my SS tinnies which I was finally able to dig out. I`m still not sure on the Frankfurt Main tinnie or the Gau tag Munchen, but no matter, they are still a nice addition to this small but rare group.

Nice group, but I think the coin at the bottom has nothing to do with SS but is NSB (Dutch - Lotsverbondenheid penning)

Very nice Chris. This is one area from which I have no tinnies and have been afraid to get into. The number of fakes (and good ones) has me a bit gun shy. Any chance of getting some close ups of these? They look great.

2nd this medal was given to memebers of the NSB (Dutch National Socialist Party) who were prisoned during the invasion of the Netehrlands in Germany.
The medal is being faked, A real Coin is very clear and crisp. I will show you ine tonight that you will see the difference.

Also the Berlin tinnie is now being questioned on other forums as being a possible fake based on a similar design.

The Gruppe West doesn`t surprise me as I had my doubts on it and paid reproduction price for it, however the Berlin one does surprise me as I got it many years ago from a very reliable dealer/collector. It would surprise me that this got past him but anythings possible I guess. Thanks for your input

As Don says the gruppe west tinnie is bad, but like Chris i am surprised
that the Berlin one is being questioned. I bought mine 15 years or more
and have not seen many about, Saying that having not seen another
in the years since i bought it, i have seen two in the last six months at
fairs, bought one of them. Don i would be interested to know what forum
they are being discussed on.
