    Cased Commemorative Plaquette :)

OK GUY"S what do you think about my NEW cased Nurnberg Rally Competitions from 1934!!!
It's made of porcelain and was presented by Nurnburg officals to commemorate the competitions held during the 1934 nurnburg rally. the central motif was in gold, and depicted the national emblem (similar to that on the Blood Order) overlooking the Nurnburg Castle. The outer circle was finished in a reddish-brown color, and bore the inscription "Deutsche Kampfspiele Nurnburg 1934" (German Competition Games-Nurnburg 1934). The outer rim was finished in gold. The reverse bore the manufacture's logo.
The plaquette was presented in a dark red case without exterior markings. The in-side of the lid was white ssatin, and bore the inscription "Gegeben von der Stadt Nurnburg" (Persented by the city of Nurnburg) in red letters. The lower section was compartmented, and finished in white velvet.

this was the one in the book: "for fuhrer and fatherland"
and so was the information i just wrote. this is the actual piece in the book. I traded my lasted buy the "Honor Tablet" for it and a couple dollars... i'm really happy to get my hands on this, it's in outstanding condition besides the paper hinge. it's un-chipped and really surprises me that it has the makers tag on the bottom of the case and is not chipped!!

so what do you guys think of this porcelain baby??
more photos coming have camera problems!!!!

thank you joe & mike, joe your right for my little collection this is really my proudest piece. i really like the way it feels it's pretty heavy but feels like what it's made of "porcelain" just really weard and when you have it in your hand you feel how fragile it really is compared to any of the other German piece.

                thanks greg
