    Not a Juncker

No, but I've got an "L/60" bronze and an "L/11" silver.

That is interesting. I have handled a number of Mothers Cross medals but don't recall ever seeing one maker marked other that the case the gold ones have come in. Are they all marked on the medal? Mike

Mine are marked at the bottom of the lower arm on the reverse. But these are miniatures. None of my three (one of each grade) full-sized crosses is marked at all.

              Mother's cross

Not the cleanest of examples but this silver miniature one is marked L/53.

I don't have any full size marked examples but do have the following miniatures as well as a number of unmarked examples:

                Gold Marked: L/58.

                Silver Marked: L/11. (Two examples)

                Bronze Marked: L/58.
                Bronze Marked: L/16.

Here are my three mini-mothers. The bronze one has a L/11, at first glance both silver ones seem to have L/11 too. Closer inspection shows they are not of the same maker and the middle one seems to be an L/12 also.

I don't think that the L/12 raises the value of the cross at all. I would pay no more than $ 20-25.- based on condition and mounting.

Strange however is the fact that the only other miniature I have with marking is a German Cross in Gold. Not even the high level awards have markings, only silver content.

Yes I would have agree with Dietrich on the value of these mini's between $20 and $30 USD depending on condition.
