    A Post-War (just barely) Tinnie

Not a Third Reich tinnie of course, and only important to me because my father brought it back to the US in the summer of 1946 after his service in the Occupation Army. It was probably made by one of the many Third Reich badge manufacturers, but alas is unmarked. Nice enamel work; the blue pants are semi-translucent like a Mothers Cross!

    Regards,
    Greg

I doubt that Frank meant that as a racist remark - it was an observation; and considering the times, a good one.

The US Army has (had) several "recreation areas" for US Armed Forces - Garmisch was one, and known for its skiing. Not far from Chiemsee and Berchtesgarten.
