My first Mothers Cross in Gold

I just received a little cardboard box of old photos and negatives.
When i was going through them i found this blue box hidden under them. I could not belive my eyes when i found this beautful mothers cross in gold.
I have no idea about it or its value, so if anyone could give me a idea for it, it would be most greatful.
Here is a photo of my new find.

These usually go for between £60 - £90 depending on who is selling and what condition it is in.

What shape is the case in? Looks like the lid's a tad crooked Also, does the case have a maker mark on the inside of the lid?

The box is almost mint and clicks closed perfectly, the photo unfortunatly makes it look a little off-side/
