    Unknown stickpin and Gustloff badge

    Hi everybody,

    just received these 2 pieces.
First the stickpin with wings - what was that for ???
Second the Gustloff badge - was that kind of a souvenir which could
be bought on the ship during its KDF-time ???

    Many thanks in advance,

Like mentioned before: The first one is of the Reserve SA. The Gustloff badge is discribed as a crew member's badge in the book 'Labor Organizations of the Reich".

Google the "Wilhelm Gustloff" and you'll see its tragic end - the Russians sunk it in the Baltic in 1945, killing 9000 civilians - mostly women and children. A war crime that went unpunished.

I know what you mean Stephen. Only the one who's defeated made War crimes! The winner is always right!
