If you are referring to the style of attach plate there isn’t any thing wrong with yours the type Fire61 is referring to is an elongated oval with clipped ends as I show in the picture attached here.

I had used to own one but it seems I can't find the images now. Sorry.

Wow, I stand corrected James. Do you know how long I looked for an example of the modern reproduction pinback to post here? (BTW, I have always appreciated your insight onmy own items)

I was unaware that there was a similar one that was period. But then that is why I am here; is to learn.

I am a little confused as the fake Sargeant08 shows has a similar pinback to the known original but is it different as it is squarecut to the end where the pin comes out?

I am also confused (Not hard to do to me, obviously) as there is mention of the WWII Wehrwolves in this thread of being of two distinct periods. I assume that all the awesome regalia that Robin shows is from the 1923 to 1933 period prior to becoming part of the SA?

I also compare the W-Badge Don originally posted and based on the info here, my "instinct" says it is a reproduction, but maybe it is not??? The badge outline, markings and pin seem wrong to me, or am I being cynical?

          Thanks and good thread!

I couldn't find anything in the FAQ's about not being able to post items for sale in the forum - so - if anyone is interested in this badge, it is for sale - as an overpriced repro or a modestly priced original - your choice (ha ha). It is not really in my area of collecting and I would just like to see it go to a proper home. If interested, please contact me privately.

Nice idea, but I'm not sure that there are a lot of interested collectors. Good luck

Rules and Regulations are not my forte, but I do believe you have to be an Association Member to sell, and it is only to be done in the Estand section of the forums.

Not trying to be a stickler, as it is nice to have new members to the forums and your pin brought out a lot of information I learned from, but rules are there to protect all WAF members.

                  Just my 2 cents.
