    NSDAP Pin - RZM 72 marked - Opinions Please

    I bought this several years ago from a US Vet estate sale. It came with other original US and German items. That said, it does have the oval "0" and the gap between the L- and S. Other than those anomolies, I really have no reason to doubt it.

    The discolorization at the top of the badge is camera flash, not the badge.

      Hi,

      It looks certainly not like a common M1/72. I've 5 or 6 of them, al standard RZM pieces. This was a busy (but quality) manufacturer. So it could be a transistional variant. The rather thick border is also typical for earlier production.
