    SA Sport Badge / Gold or Bronze

    Hello to you all,

    As this will be my 1st post onto WAF, hope you can forgive me if I screw something up !
    I have been active on Lowlands Forum for some time now, however if would like a more worldwide opinion on the below item.

    It was purchased from private seller, however only as a bronze badge.
    After crosschecking, I now have doubts wether this might even be a golden badge. I can give following information
    * Maker = E.Schneider ( Ludenscheid )
    * Number in badge = 276024
    * Non-Magnetic

    However, as you can see, the badge is in poor condition. It is covered in spots ( rust ), but this can happen to golden items ...
    I now turn to your vast expertise, as to confirm ( or deny ) it being a golden badge.

    For reference, below is a picture of my other badge ( right hand side ). Maker of this one is Berg&Nolte AG.

    PS ... for the reference of the E.Schneider badge I turned to below site

    I'd say bronze especially with the high number.

        Thanks for the info gentlemen,

        If it comes to these badges, I am a rookie
        Is there any particular reason why the damaged badge is non-magnetic, as the other bronze badge shown is?
        I guess Schneider manufactured both the dark / bright version of the bronze ...

          Is there any way I can find out to whom these badges belonged ?
          Can the number on the back be traced somewhere ?
