Supposedly these were cap badges for the Jewish Ghetto police but in reality they`re junk

Whereof think you that this badge is not original?

According to the book Counterfeiting the Holocaust these types of badges were mass produced to sell as fakes, however, can you tell me if the badge is curved or not. Also, this is indeed not the standard fake screw back that is common on the fakes. I cannot find a picture or description of a genuine badge back so maybe someone has more information on this type of screw back

A fake - they would never have come under RZM controls, so the added RZM logo & SS mark are complete fantasy. Such marks were also never put on a screw plate - they would go on the badge itself, when appropriate.
