gausieger ????????

hi all
what are your thoughts on this gausieger badge im really not convinced by it the front looks okayother than the 3 looks very low its the back that worries me,there seems to be pitting ion the back and the catch is not what i would expect for this maker please note this badge is not in my possesion but i found it on a site at a reasonable price
am i just being paranoid

Looks fine from those images Stuart. The catch is correct for a 1938 award (look at other 1938's).
