I may have posted in the wrong forum originally so I'll try here.
Are these 2 pins OK? They seem good to me

Better pics would probably help. I understand the top design to be often copied and the back catch attachment is largely fake mfg. as I understand it.

The regular party pin seems more probably legit to me.

Unfortunately these are all the images that were ripped by me. The Auction takes place Thu, Jan 24, 2008 6:00 PM Eastern.
Anymore help will be greatly appreciated.

Number one this a reproduction the attachment plate and markings on the reverse are all wrong. The party membership badge looks authentic.

                Hi Ken

Well I would certainly pass on the first one.

Agreed -- but I have never seen those maker marks etc on a fake badge before - - - this is a worrying development !!

                      Hi: #2 good.
#1 bad. Not only the catch plate a dead giveaway. It is of the opinion that these supporter pins should not bear the RZM as originals were presented before 1934. There is controversy over wether these, along with "Adolf Hitler", "Deutschland Erwake", "Heim ins Reich", & "Nun Erst Reicht" were re issued as commemoratives. IMO I don't think so. Especially yours as Ludendorff fell out of favor later with the NSDAP. I have seen originals without the RZM.
Also look at the enamel swaz. How it is higher than the cloisonne. The fakers use liquid paint and the Germans were using a powdered mix that required baking and polishing. You won't fine original pins that arn't smooth across the top.
                      IMO, John
