    Hello Grzegorz,

    I think this is a great find! I although think that this blood order is a good one. Whow, original and ground dug.

    In the only known list of blood order recipients there is no name to this number. Sorry.

      It looks good to me too. Being that it's a 2nd pattern no list of names to numbers has yet been found. Nice find though!

            It's a nice original medal, from the look of it.

            Funny...............I have a BO with the number 1651......just 20 away from this one.

              Thank You for answers. Now this Blood oreder is mine. I have purchased it this evening for about 1100 Euro . I think it's worth that price.

                How many typ of 2 model BO? I have BO with number 2657 and it has other sunbeams of and "pimples" of eagle.

                  The 2nd pattern started around 1600 and went to about 4200.

                          Looks good to me. Great find for sure ! Congratulations, not so many blutorden holders out there on active combat duty, you might be able to narrow down who it belonged to, who was active in that area at that time etc.

                            As the others have stated, a very nice original 2nd pattern Blutorden. This is one of the earliest 2nd patterns I know of... Nice to see that it has survived the tests of time.

                              Thanks Rob. Did the suspension ring brake off during cleaning? I also have a Blutorden missing the suspension ring. I hope you have kept the pieces !! I would probably not attempt fixing it but keep the pieces together.
