Tinnie (?) group - Any ID & Guess

    Hi,

These aren't in hand so these are the only shots I have. Wondering if anyone might advise on how rare they may be, obviously, if they're period and, if so, what they might be valued at such that I might make a reasonable offer.

    Any comment would be welcome.

(hope everyone made it through New Year entact:-)

    Thanx, Rick C.

again, sorry for the photos but I didn't shoot them. He's also showing me the eagle proof on a set of spoons he has - I can't ID the eagle...

the spoons for whatever they're worth...

Any possibility anyone can tell me anything from these shots?

          Thanx in advance, RC

I strongly suspect all are fake I'm afraid. Others more qualified in tinnies will undoubtedly be able to comment on the hollowbacks better than I, but the reverses do not seem detailed enough with a lack of clarity of the Ges.Gesch mark on the pin plate of one.

The SS tinnie is definitely bad, the markings are all wrong for these. I would also be sceptical of the cutlery, the eagle looks wrong to me.

            Sorry.

            Don

Indeed, an RZM mark on an SS badge is a red flag and the RZM logo is wrong. That eagle looks more like a rubber chicken..

                RICK,
THE SS IS ABSOLUTELY FAKE. THE WHEEL ONE I`M NOT SURE ABOUT BUT DOESN`T LOOK GREAT TO ME. THE OTHER 2 LOOK GOOD

Chris - since I don't have to be bashful with you and since tinnies are your particular addiction, what are these things worth (the good ones)?

Also, does anyone have an original example of the SS thing they might show?

                      Tinnies

                      Rick,
I could be wrong on the NSKK tinnie but I still like it and would take a chance on it. These tinnies aren`t generally reproduced and I`ve seen crappy pins on tinnies before, even if it is marked. The brot tinnie looks like a nice solid piece. As far as price $40-$50 on the NSKK and $30 on the Brot. I was able to dig up a similar tinnie to the SS fake but damned if I can find the NSKK ( probably sitting under the cap skull)

Well now Chris - that's a pretty tinnie. Why didn't you try to hustle me into buying that one instead of that mutant camel with antlers you sold me?

As for the Totenkopf - I think your bride traded it at the tatoo parlor & just never told you. Imagine - my visor devoid of a skull because your wife wanted a new tat.

And now I suppose I have to post pictures of said Tattoo

                              Hi
the wheel with eagle is a part of a NSKK Kraftfahrerraute and looks fine to me.
                              Cheers
