DRL sports badge - uncommon variant?

I obtained this off of the e-stand not too long ago. I have no doubts about its authenticity, and have asked the gentleman who sold it to me if he minds if I posted it here as it was remarked that it may be a less common variant. I am just wondering if this is so, and what people have to say as far as the design goes. I know very little in this area so if anyone recognizes it as a common, or an uncommon - or what have you - I'd love to know. Here are some pictures:

The text on the reverse is, I believe:

Left side: * L CHR LAUER*
Righ side: * NURNBERG-BERLIN * (The U has the two little dots above it - German but I forget this character's name)
Bottom: D.R.G.M. 25269 (Possible that the first 2 is a 3 but I do not think so)

You have IMO a very nice example of the D.R.L. (Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen) National Sports badge. This design was issued in 1937 and continued until the end of the war it is the most common design found.

This design was issued in 1935 and continued until August 1944, approx. 1,000,000 awards.
