Yes, Ross! Excellent info and photos!!! Now, if enough of us could just motivate ourselves to get in there and do a little research, maybe we could put a name to all these numbers!

Exellent idea Chris. At least you live in the VS. I have to come from Europe
No kidding if I had this kind of reseaching facilities in my country they had to drag me out there!
Many thanks for the inside view of the centre, Ross. Is this centre the same as they called 'the NARA'. The woman who wrote Eva Braun's biografie has visited the NARA for looking at the personal movies and picture albums of Eva.

A good friend and research mentor of mine was working at the Archives (before the days of the College Park branch) in Washington when a group of well dressed people that included a tall, distingushed looking gentleman came into the Central Research Room. A cart was brought out with Eva Braun's photo albums for the group to examine. As the pages were turned, several photos were pointed to and during the discussion, the gray-haired gentleman replied several times, "ja, ja, that is me." Turns out the gent was one of the Leibstandarte SS-Adolf Hitler guards there at Hitlers' retreat Berghof! You never know what kind of history might be found in the Archives.
