Here are a couple of HJ badges from my Hochland collection. I'm always on the look out for Hochland HJ related items.

          Martin,
It's gold. Hmmm makes me wonder, was there a silver version?

I see Jamie Cross has one on his web sight, he's very knowledgable. Anyone have any info on the Hochland Lager Badge. I notice that they appear on many dealers web sights.

I'm sorry JW but I'm with Tomas on these: neither badge shown is original.

The Ski badge has been discussed several times, as a search of the forum will reveal.

                  Here is one such thread:

I could comment here but I doubt whether it would make any difference. You guys know what I would say & you know what Martin would say...... So I will leave it at that for now.

Good luck Tomas, Toby & Dan you're going to need it .

                      Cheers
                      Don

Both of these items are suspect to say the least. They are very good quality and must have cost quite a penny to produce, which would make you believe they are real, however they showed up in the early ninties 1991?? on all of the "shady" tables, which makes me question them. They were produced in TR days but as tinnies. I have a tinnie of the Hochland badge and have seen the Ski badge in tinnie form before.

I do own a pair but keep them separate from the rest of my collection as pretty as they are, you don't bring a tart around your family.

Not Period examples - Never said they were

Actually I never stated either of the examples posted was original . I stated that they are were not fantasy peices. And most definitely the Badge to the left hand side is not a fantasy piece.
                          Regards Martin

The left one is a copy of a large table medal and the other one is a copy of a tinnie
