Very nice! Isnt the swastika in the second tinnie above a edelweiss? If so, does it have any relation with the Gebirgsjäger?

Hello John, in answer to your pm regarding the 1929 Nurnberg Party day Tinnie, it is certainly one of the scarcer Tinnies. On a scale of one to Ten from my perspective it ranks at a Nine. As you know this Badge was given full party status in 1936. Originally it was produced as a honor Badge to be worn by attendants to the Fourth NSDAP Party Rally.

                Tiger,

I am thinking the Edelweise was just symbolic of the region on this tinnie being that the rally was located in upper Austria. This tinnie is for the step up by the NSDAP to push their ideology there after the district had elected several socialists to office. Remember this is the beginning of when the NSDAP was trying to win the Austrians to their side.
