As a non Mothers Cross point of interest, in the photo Torsten posted, the groom is wearing his KVK2 with swords from his buttonhole.

You probably would not be able to tell from a photo if this is being worn, as I suspect the pin was added to make the cross fixed in one position, but it would still have been worn using the neckband ... just my guess. Cheers, Torsten.
